I can’t interpret art.
I enjoyed the title and then I enjoyed the drawing. I love the strength of the hand and the smooth texture of the belt; I also love how the solidity of the rendering of the belt, together with its central position, make it the absolute focus. the eyes is constantly drawn back to it. The background is such a contrast and an observer might interpreted it as a flash of pain.
Thanks for the careful observations… I would say that I was also playing around with reality/fantasy.
